How many times we read the series on-air since it began, I wonder now. This round, we are now recounting the 7th year of Hijra.

On-line, I have been following a series of lectures on the Life of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) by Dr. Yasir Qadhi on Youtube. It is a very comprehensive take on the life of the Prophet SAW.

The last in the series, The Death of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, was uploaded two days ago but I have consciously postponed listening to the lectures because every time I read or listen to narration of the Prophet SAW‘s farewell hajj and last days, I cry. However, there are so many messages during those times that are very relevant to our times, of which I need to be reminded.
